Every time you browse on the Internet, it's your IP (Internet Protocol) address like 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 that can identify the location for the websites you have visited. The capability to visit various websites without anyone else monitoring your activities can give you the needed anonymity. You may achieve anonymous Internet searching by hiding your IP address. You can get many utilities or proxy services on the Internet which enables anonymous browsing. This utility can either be open source or for a small subscription fee. Here are the instructions for doing this:
- Visit one of the free proxy services websites. Enter the URL of the site you want to visit without having your address being identifiable. Now click on "Options" link on the right of the URL field and put check marks near the options you want to enable. It includes removing JavaScript and cookie storage. You also need to remove Meta information from tags and strip the page titles.
- Go to the Proxeasy site and sign up to the proxy service. This site offers trial membership and also monthly subscriptions. You can use this service to get anonymous web browsing and access to some blocked sites. All you need to do is to place check marks on the boxes to remove titles, scripts, images and cookies of your choice.
- You can also use Bypass Proxy for enabling secret access to sites. You get anonymous and secret browsing using this service as it hides your IP address when you are browsing. It also gives protection against malicious scripts and viruses which might threaten your PC when you are surfing. You only need to enter the URL of the site you desire to visit.
