Morphing Smartphones into Automotive Application Platforms On-The-Go

One of the primary goals of Pervasive Computing has been to enable users to seamlessly access information and interact with applications across multiple environments, anytime anywhere. We present Terminal Mode – a technology which seamlessly integrates smartphones into In-Vehicle Infotainment systems and transforms them into automotive application platforms on-the-go. Terminal Mode ensures that users can safely access and interact with their favorite mobile applications while driving and helps transform the automotive application space from a restrictive niche application space to a more advanced and accessible mobile application eco-system.
